Profound healing. Personal growth. Lasting transformation.

Online therapy for anxious and overwhelmed adults and college students in California & Texas, and all PSYPACT States

Fed up with having anxiety as your constant companion?

Firstly, I commend you for taking the courageous step of seeking therapy. It’s exhausting to sift through countless websites in search of the right therapist. I get it! And I'm so glad that you somehow landed here to explore what I have to offer.

If you find yourself trapped in overthinking and overanalyzing, constantly living in your head, you're in the right place. If you find it difficult to stay present, consumed by thoughts of the past or worries about the future, you're in the right place. If you're ready to embrace joy, relaxation, meaningful connections, and self-worth, you’re in the right place. My practice is all about helping people like you.

I'm Dr. Monica Rosas-Baines,  but that’s a mouthful so my clients call me Dr. Monica. As a licensed clinical psychologist with 25 years of experience, I have a genuine passion for supporting individuals like you navigate life's challenges and find inner peace. While I've had the privilege of working with clients of all ages, my specialization lies in working with adults aged 18 to 40ish. I'm intimately familiar with the personal, developmental, social, and familial hurdles encountered during these transformative phases of life.

 Feel heard, understood, and accepted.

The key to successful therapy lies in the connection and trust you have with your therapist. That's why my utmost priority is to cultivate a safe and accepting environment where you can be your authentic self, imperfections and all. This is a space that embraces diversity, inclusivity, and affirmation.

It has been a privilege to be able to do this work, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to do so. I would be honored to accompany you on your path to self-discovery and internal peace.

My approach

Straightforward therapy. Long-lasting results.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and deep respect for my clients. And I also believe in keeping it real and talking straight. I view you as more than the sum of your symptoms. I value all aspects of who you are, including your unique experiences, challenges, and strengths. That's why I believe in tailoring your therapy to meet your individual needs and goals. While I draw upon various therapy methods through my extensive training, my primary approach is centered around treating the whole person, not just addressing symptoms. We’ll reduce your symptoms but we can aim for higher. By harnessing your existing strengths and positive attributes, we will cultivate lasting change, self-respect and acceptance.

In working with me, you will experience…

Integrative Approach Utilizing:

Characterological * Psychodynamic *

Cognitive Behavioral * Client-Centered

We all have the right to have things wrong.

I frequently remind my clients of this comforting truth. Oftentimes, shame and self-judgment can make it difficult to seek help for emotional struggles. But just as we seek professional assistance for dental or medical issues without embarrassment, we should approach mental health concerns with the same understanding. Having emotional challenges does not mean you are inadequate, weak, or broken.

I am here to support you in cultivating self-acceptance and finding ways to navigate and address your problems with compassion and resilience.

Let’s connect. You’ll never regret prioritizing your mental health.
