Our favorite hello and hardest goodbye.
Me and Kissa, my sweet girl. She’s no longer by my side, but always in my heart. Losing her reminded me why I do this work—love and grief are so deeply intertwined.
Honoring the Bond, Healing the Heart
Losing a beloved pet can be a deeply devastating experience. For many, pets are cherished family members and sources of unconditional love, making their loss overwhelming and isolating. The grief can be as intense as losing a human loved one, and sometimes even more so. This pain often begins long before a pet passes, especially when facing aging or a terminal diagnosis, as anticipatory grief brings its own heartbreak.
If you feel misunderstood or unsupported in your grief, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Here, you’ll find a compassionate space to process your emotions, honor your bond with your pet, and work toward healing in your own time.

If you find that your grief is interfering with your daily functioning, relationships, or overall well-being, pet loss therapy may be beneficial. Signs that you could benefit from therapy include persistent sadness, difficulty engaging in activities you once enjoyed, trouble sleeping or eating, and feeling isolated or misunderstood by others. Additionally, if you are struggling with anticipatory grief due to an aging or terminally ill pet, therapy can provide support and guidance during this challenging time. Therapy is particularly helpful if you feel stuck in your grief, unable to move forward, or if you notice that your grieving process is affecting other areas of your life, including your mental health and relationships. Even if you are functioning well, it can still be helpful to have a professional help you through this deeply emotional journey. Often people find that 1-2 sessions is all they need to experience relief.
